Martin Gundolf
Martin Gundolf is a master beekeeper, producer and long-standing partner of Alpine Naturprodukte GmbH. In 1997, together with Reinhard and Christian Schuler, he was involved in founding the Plattenrain-Alm farmers’ cooperative. Together with Reinhard Schuler, he is also one of the founders of the Gutes aus Tirol brand.
His professional expertise focuses on beekeeping and the harvesting and processing of products from the beehive. These include honey, propolis, beeswax and other bee products.
“It is important to me to work with our bee colonies as gently as possible. That is why I limit interventions in the hive to what is absolutely necessary, rely on natural pest control and maintain a closed beeswax cycle. Our bee colonies are located high up in the Pitztal valley, where they forage on mountain meadows. This means that our beekeeping is directly connected to the region’s diverse alpine flora.” Martin Gundolf
